WACO, TX — The Waco Police Department said that they received 331 calls for service from 7 p.m. on New Year's Eve to 7 a.m. on New Year's Day.

However, they did not have any intoxication related traffic crashes. They said that in fact, from that time frame, they only responded to three traffic crashes throughout the whole city.

"I couldn't be happier with those results.," Garen Bynum with the Waco Police Department said. "This tells me that those that went out were trying to be safe and that our goal for the night was met. 0 intoxicated related crashes!"
