WACO, TX — It's been a week since Dr. Hazel Rowe was selected as the new interim superintendent for Waco ISD.
On March 28, the Waco ISD school board voted unanimously to hire Rowe as the district's interim superintendent. She is a longtime Waco educator and previously served as the district's interim superintendent in 2000-2001.
On Thursday, Rowe sat down with Central Texas News Now for an interview. Rowe explains her reasoning for stepping up to the plate and her plans to keep the district moving forward.
