Officials: No injuries reported after Waco structure fire

WACO, TX — The Waco Fire Department responded to a structure fire Monday evening.

According to officials, the call of a structure fire came in at approximately 6:16 p.m. at 6416 Tierra Drive.

A man was home at the time of the fire. He said he heard a pop and went to look in his backyard and didn't see anything. When he came back inside the house, he saw smoke.

He tried to put the fire out himself, but was not successful.

He later got his pets and left the house.

There was significant damage to at least one room. There was smoke damage throughout the entire house.

There were no injuries.

Waco fire and AMR were at the scene.

The Fire Marshal is on the scene investigating the cause of the fire.
