Waco police said early Saturday morning, a woman jumped from a bridge into the Brazos River.
The incident happened in the 100 block of University Parks Drive shortly before 2 a.m.
A Waco firefighter water rescue team member swam out to get her and pulled her from the river, according to the Waco Fire Department.
She was evaluated by AMR and then taken to a local hospital for a mental health evaluation, said police.
