WACO, TX — Waco Fire Chief Bobby Tatum announced he will be retiring at the end of the year.
In a press release, Waco City Manager Wiley Stem wished Chief Tatum the best in the future.
“Since Bobby came to Waco after retiring from the City of Fort Worth with 31 years of experience, he has developed a strong department that has improved the level of fire services the Council and citizens of Waco expect. We respect his decision to retire, thank him for his service and wish him the best in the future.”
Chief Tatum's retirement will be effective December 31, 2019.
