WACO, TX — Strong winds helped spread a fire through a house, according to the Waco Fire Department.

Waco Fire says crews received a call for a structure fire in the 3100 block of Old Marlin Road around 4:47 p.m. Wednesday.

When units arrived, the owner of the home waved crews toward the front of the house where there were physical flames.

Waco Fire says the strong wind spread the fire toward the back of the house.

No injuries were reported. A fire marshal is on-scene to investigate the cause.

Waco Fire says there is fire and smoke damage throughout the home.
