Waco Center for Youth is hiring several positions at the long-term psychiatric residential treatment facility.

WCY serves teens between 13-17 experiencing emotional and behavioral issues.

Requirements for Employment:

Valid Texas driver license

21 years of age or older

High school diploma or GED

Application for employment

Basic computer skills

Ability to read, write and understand English to effectively communicate and carry out verbal and written instructions

Ability to learn client care, CPR, positive communication skills, and treatment, intervention and protection strategies

Ability to lift, push and pull a minimum of 55 pounds

Knowledge of patient care and treatment and how to assist in daily living skills a plus

Six months of experience in direct client care, mental health or criminal justice treatment center preferred

Pay

Entry Level PNA I: $1967.74 a month plus shift differential for evening and night shifts. Promotional opportunities available.
