WACO, TX — The Waco Cattle Baron's Ball kicked off its 14th annual Style Show Thursday evening.

Multiple cancer survivors of all ages modeled their favorite clothes down the rundown.

The event was called Couture for Cancer, which shines a light on survivors who beat cancer, but also raises money and awareness, so that one day there can be a cure for all, but especially the community.

"We're raising money not just for a worldwide cure, but for a cure here in our local community. For our moms, and our dads, our ants, and our uncles, and sometimes even our children. You know, that cure we're fighting for impacts us here in our own local community," said Cristi McGowan, the Chairman for the 2019 Waco Cattle Baron's Ball.

The organization will be hosting a skeet shoot this Saturday at Weber's in Troy. Participants can register on site.
