AXTELL, TX — Voters in Axtell are dealing with political sign issues during Election Day 2020.
Mary Duty with the Democratic Party in McLennan County said signs for Biden/Harris were defaced.
She said she's been replenishing and replacing signs in the area that have gone missing near polling sites.
Supporters of the president in Axtell said Trump signs have also gone missing.
As a result, they've come to the polling location in Axtell to keep a lookout from an acceptable distance.
Duty says she stopped by the Axtell location after reports of possible voter intimidation.
People are not allowed to display signage relating to a candidate within 100 feet of a polling location. The Trump supporters in Axtell are parked behind the line.
