The approaches to the structure will also be upgraded and replaced.

Knife River – South of Belton, TX is undertaking this bridge replacement project at a cost of $663. 000.

Work will take place between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The bridge and roadway will close, to through traffic, on March 9, with northbound and southbound traffic detoured via SH 317, until construction is completed.

Alternate routes are recommended during the replacement operation. The project is scheduled for completion in the Summer of 2020, weather permitting.

TxDOT urges residents to be cautious and watch for construction personnel and equipment in the work area.
