HEWITT, TX — The Waco Fire Department assisted in a structure fire on Tuesday.
Officials said the call came in at 7:45 p.m., of a house fire at 317 Dixon Dr. in Hewitt. Waco fire was called to assist in the house fire by Hewitt fire.
Once firefighters got there, most of the fire was in the kitchen area.
There was significant smoke and fire damage around the home.
Two people evacuated the house before firefighters got to the scene.
There were no injuries.
Officials are investigating to determine what caused the fire.
