WACO, TX — Texas State Technical College laid off approximately 100 people in an effort to "reorganize our TSTC college operation for a new future."
In a letter to employees, Texas State Technical College let employees know their positions were eliminated "effective immediately" on September 9, 2020.
The letter reads, "to reorganize our TSTC college operation for a new future, we must eliminate approximately 100 various roles across our TSTC campus locations."
Employees whose roles have been eliminated will have the opportunity to talk with an HR representative to discuss severance package offerings and final payment is expected to deposit on September 30, 2020.
