WACO, TX — A special prosecutor from Houston dismissed the cases of three bikers indicted in the shooting outside the Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco in 2015.
Nine people died and dozens were injured following the incident.
Pro Tem Criminal District Attorney Brian Roberts dismissed the cases against Billy McRee, Ray Nelson and William Aikin.
“Upon reviewing all the facts, circumstances and evidence, it is the State’s position that no probable cause exists to believe the defendant committed the offense,” Roberts stated in the motion to dismiss.
