WACO, TX — A single mother of three hopes the Central Texas community can help after finding their family's only car unusable on Christmas morning.
Kimberly Evans woke up Wednesday to find all four of her car's tires flat.
"I came outside because we was going to get some rice to complete our dinner, and well I seen this side and I walk to the other side and all four of them were flat," she said.
After finding small cuts above each rim, she called the Waco Police Department.
Evans said Waco Police confirmed all four of her tires had been cut.
Officers checked the car for fingerprints but found nothing.
"This is very sad, and I still tried to have holiday spirit and I let them open their gifts still, and it's still very heartbreaking," said Evans.
Evans is concerned for her family's well being, as the car was their only mode of transportation and her children are constantly in and out of the doctor's office.
"We're in and out of the hospital two or three times a week because ear infections. They both had tubes in, about to get tubes again and adenoids taken out" she said.
Evans hopes the community can help connect her family with new tires.
