WACO, TX — The Waco Women's Lions Club said its second president Janice Stone died on Monday.
Stone was the group's president from 2015-2016.
"Amidst our sadness is also joy that we had the opportunity to enjoy her twinkling eyes when she smiled, her ferocious wit, and her gift of leadership for our fledgling club in 2015-16," the club said in a post on Facebook.
The Waco Women's Lions Club will share information on services for Stone in the coming days.
