WACO, TX — The City of Waco says they have narrowed the search for Fire Chief down to two finalists.

Following the retirement of Fire Chief Bobby Tatum Jr, the City of Waco engaged the national search firm of SGR to help find its next chief.

On Monday, February 10 five finalists were in town for interviews and tours of Waco. From those five the City has narrowed the selection down to two candidates.

· Richard A. Potter – 29 Year Veteran of Fire Services – Deputy Chief Pueblo Fire 2019-Present, Acting Fire Chief Pueblo, CO. 2016-2019
