ROBINSON, TX — A single mother of two is thanking a Robinson police officer after he generously paid to take care of her broken down car.

Victoria Chapa was driving on Loop 340 in Robinson when her car broke down, so she called Robinson PD.

While she was waiting for the tow truck, the officer offered to let her wait in his patrol car. Without her knowing, he paid for her tow fee.

"I don't know how to explain that feeling, you know, that somebody would do something like that for somebody they don't even know. He doesn't know me. I don't know him," she explained.

Chapa says the officer is also a single parent and realized she had been having a bad day.

To thank him, she picked up some cookies from H-E-B and delivered them to the Robinson police station.
