WACO, TX — An off-duty Waco officer was charged with a DWI after a crash on Saturday, police said.
Police said on Saturday before 5:30 p.m., officers responded to a crash at Bosque and Hwy 6.
During the investigation of the crash, it was discovered that the off-duty officer was involved in the crash.
It was believed that Paul Scrivner, 29, was under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and charged with a DWI.
Scrivner was taken for medical clearance and then transported to the McLennan County Jail.
The accident is still under investigation.
