WACO, TX — The Waco Police Department is investigating after a man with numerous gunshot wounds was found dead behind a cemetery.
According to Waco PD, around 3:10 p.m., a Baylor University employee reported a person lying in the street in the 2900 block of South 4th Street next to the Oakwood Cemetery.
Officers arrived and found a man lying in the street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Waco PD says the man was shot numerous times. The department believes he is in his late teens.
Special crimes detectives are beginning their investigation.
