WACO, TX — Waco police are investigating a shooting that sent a store clerk to the hospital.
A man walked into the Mini Retail Store on W. Waco Drive Sunday evening. Police said the store clerk was shot in the chest before the suspect was seen running down Waco Drive.
The clerk walked across the street for help. When police responded the victim was taken to Hillcrest Hospital for surgery. His condition is not known.
Waco police said the investigation is ongoing.
