MART, TX — The McLennan County Sheriff's Office said they have arrested the fifth suspect that fled from a carjacking incident on Tuesday.

They arrested three teen girls, ages 13, 14, 15, and one teen boy, 17, Tuesday evening.

The fifth suspect was identified as 23-year-old Kyhrek Holder, and the 17-year-old boy was identified as Kwame Davis Lucas. The three teenage girls were not identified due to their ages.

"It's a sad situation to see people this age involved in situations like this," said McLennan County Sheriff Parnell McNamara.

The sheriff's office said they received a call around 2:15 p.m. about a stolen car out of Temple. Deputies said the suspects ditched the first car and attempted to carjack another. They were able to carjack the another vehicle and shots were fired by the teens towards the victim, who was trying to get his car back.

They then abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot in the area.

The suspects were seen headed toward Mart and are hiding in the 939 County Line Pkwy area.

McNamara said they expect to charge the suspects with aggravated robbery, two counts of unauthorized use of a vehicle, evading arrest and engaging in organized crime.

"(McLennan County) is not a good place to bring your stolen car, we are going to catch you and chase you down," said McNamara.

Officials said they recovered a gun that was found in the abandoned vehicle. McNamara said they are trying to locate the other one that was used.
