WACO, TX — A new salon coming to north Waco will be hosting a military and first responder appreciation event during its grand opening.

Siren Studios, a hair a makeup studio, is operated by a former police officer and her disabled Army veteran husband.

The studio will be opening it’s doors on March 11th, and will be holding a First Responder and Military Appreciation event from March 11th-14th.

There, they will be offering free haircuts to police, first responders and active or retired military (with proper ID) during the entire first week of business.

They didn’t forget about the important role spouses and caregivers play either, as they will receive 50% off themselves for the event.

“I’ve noticed a surge of eclectic and diversified businesses, as well as consumers in our area, and I want to be a part of this historical movement. I’m so excited to share my talent and passion for the beauty industry and I can’t imagine a better place to do just that. People from all over are recognizing Waco and taking us seriously and I’m incredibly proud to call Waco home,” said Catherine Chrzanowsk, the owner of Siren Studios.

Catherine is a former police officer and wildlands firefighter with over 15 years of experience as a licensed cosmetologist.

Her husband, a Disabled Iraq War Veteran and woodworker, will be managing an on-site art gallery, featuring local and national artists and artisans.

Siren Studios is located at 501 N Lacy Dr Waco, Texas 76705-1007.
