WACO, TX — Texans are known for looking out for their neighbors. On Thursday, a group of residents from the Pecan Ridge Apartments in Waco proved that sentiment by working together to free their neighbors.
Despite the cold, residents took to the streets to clear ice from the road so others could get out and grab essentials.
The group used shovels, hammers and whatever other tools they could find to bust up the ice.
In a tweet, one neighbor wrote, "It was fun, tiring and in the end we were successful."
