WACO, TX — Tuition prices are increasing at McLennan Community College this summer.
Trustees voted to increase fees by $84 for full-time students and $56 more for part-time students.
These increases are due to the high quality in technology and student success initiatives.
"We can have a later gyrations of technology, but it's also going to allow us to scale some very important programs in student success, such as more advisers and, again, in tutoring, and some more student initiatives that will really help our students," said Johnette McKown, President of McLennan Community College.
This marks the first fee increase at MCC since 1998.
