MCGREGOR, TX — McGregor ISD Superintendant, James Lenamon, made the announcement that McGregor High School would transition to remote learning due to a rise in COVID-19 cases.

In a letter to parents, Lenamon said there were 10 active cases of COVID-19 on campus and there were also 67 additional students that were being placed on quarantine.

McGregor ISD will move to Remote learning from November 9th to the 13th with on-campus learning resuming on Monday, November 16, 2020.

During the closure, the entire campus will receive a deep cleaning and the district will also monitor the status of the students in quarantine.

Extracurricular activities will be allowed to continue as long as no one participating tests positive for COVID-19.
