KILLEEN, TX — A man is in critical condition after a hit-and-run on O W Curry Drive in Killeen.
According to the Killeen Police Department, around midnight on July 24, officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of O W Curry Drive for a crash involving a vehicle and pedestrian.
When officers arrived, they found a man lying in the road way. He was treated by EMS at the scene and airlifted to Baylor Scott & White in critical condition.
Killeen PD says officers were told that the man was walking northbound on the west side of O W Curry Drive when he crossed the roadway heading east. The man was then hit by a vehicle traveling southbound on O W Curry Drive. The vehicle fled the area towards Bacon Ranch Road.
The suspect vehicle is a 2006 to 2014 Chevrolet Impala.
