AXTELL, TX — An Axtell man was arrested Saturday and is accused of setting his home on fire.
Deputies arrested the man, identified as Zachery Barfield, in the 400 block of Beaver Lake, said Deputy Kilcrease with the McLennan County Sheriff's Office.
He said the man was arrested for arson and faces multiple felony charges. He is being held in the McLennan County Jail on a bond of $500,000.
The same area was the site of a house fire earlier this week on Monday.
