WACO, TX — A CrossFit competition that takes place all over the world came to Waco on Saturday morning. The "Girls Gone RX" competition helps raise money for the Bright Pink organization.

The founder, Lindsey Marcelli says she started this in 2012 as a way to raise money after her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Since then, it's become a competition people do worldwide to raise money.

This is the fourth year of the Waco competition, and it's the first time it has been held at the CrossFit Misfits Gym. There are over 30 competitions throughout the year that take place in countries such as the UK, China, Canada and many more.

Marcelli says every year gets better and hopes this competition can continue making a difference.

"The charity that we work with, we are over $30,000 dollars past where we were at this time last year," said Marcelli. "And every year, there is more and more, it's so cool to see that all of the donations go to bright pink."
