Caritas of Waco has announced it has been selected by Kendra Scott as the Waco nonprofit of choice for National Philanthropy Day.
In honor of the day, people can shop online August 17-18 at KendraScott.com and use the code: GIVEBACK8430 for 20% of their purchase to be donated to Caritas of Waco.
Caritas of Waco provides urgent support to people in need through its emergency services and case management programs. On average, the agency helps 7,500 unduplicated individuals every month and the majority of clients live in Waco-McLennan County.
Since the pandemic in March, the agency has moved its food pantry service to a drive-through model to accommodate the increased need for services and to practice social distancing.
“We are grateful for new partners, like Kendra Scott, for their support” said Caritas Co-Executive Director, Ann Owen. “We would like to thank Kendra for helping people in the Waco community.”
Caritas is the first Waco nonprofit to be selected by Kendra Scott as a National Nonprofit Day partner.
