Greater Waco Chamber to host annual State of Higher Education event online

WACO, TX — On Thursday, The Greater Waco Chamber will host the annual State of Higher Education event. The virtual event will feature remarks & updates from the presidents of Texas State Technical College, McLennan Community College and Baylor University.

Following this, educational leaders will be joined by Texas Commissioner of Higher Education, Dr. Harrison Keller, for a panel discussion.

This event will take place at noon, after which, it will be available to view at www.wacochamber.com.

“Education will be the key to economic recovery as we rebuild from this pandemic. We look forward to hearing from three at this event and hearing about the pain points and successes as their institutions have adapted and responded, supporting their students through these challenging times,” said Jessica Attas, vice-president of Public Policy at the Chamber. This online event is open to the chamber membership and community. Presenting sponsorship is provided by Texas State Technical College.
