WACO, TX — Gelu Italian Ice in Waco says their trailer's generator was stolen after a break-in.
"Our generator is gone. We have to throw away all our product. But we will prevail," said Gelu Italian Ice on their Facebook page Monday.
The post said they were trying to "move into an area that is viewed throughout Waco [as] not being a safe place" because they wanted to "challenge that" by serving a "community that is so often times overlooked."
The Waco Police has been contacted, according to Gelu Italian Ice. They are asking for anyone that might have information regarding this to contact them.
The owners are buying a new generator and will be at MCC from 11 to 2 and Extraco Bank on University Park from 1 to 5.
They will also be at Dancing Bear 1117 Speight Ave from 4-8 tonight to try and make back some of the profit stolen from them.
