WACO, TX — The Mayor of Waco is urging citizens that think they are showing symptoms of COVID-19 to self-isolate.

Their efforts are to prevent further spread of the virus. On Thursday afternoon, they announced that a 7th case of COVID-19 had tested positive in Waco. This person received the virus by community spread.

He said that if you think you have it or are being tested for the virus, act as if you have it. He is urging these people to self-isolate to prevent the spread.

The mayor said that if you see someone who is waiting on test results and not self-isolating to contact the code enforcement department on the public health department.
