WACO, TX — Waco firefighters put out a fire seen burning off Interstate 35 and S. Martin Luthor King Jr. Boulevard on Monday morning.
The fire broke out in an area of heavy vegetation where homeless people camp near the river, firefighters said.
Officials on scene said someone started a fire in a tent that got out of control.
By 8:10 a.m., the fire was put out and no one was hurt.
