WACO, TX — The Extraco Events Center is capping off 2020 with one of the most exciting events of the year.

“You have seven different events happening, from saddle bronc riding to bull riding. You got tie-down roping, you got the ladies on the barrel racing, and like I said, you got the little kids riding the sheep mutton busting. It’s a lot of fun. There's a lot of action,” said Extraco Event Center Vice President of Marketing and Sponsorship Development, Charva Ingram.

“The thing about rodeo is that it doesn’t matter if your two or 92, there is something for you to enjoy in rodeo,” said the Voice of Heart of Texas Rodeo, TC Long.

After a difficult year with many canceled events due to the pandemic, the events center is back and ready to entertain guests, but this time with extra safety measures in place.

“We’re able to start generating income again, because like everyone, we lost a lot last year by not being able to have events. It just gets us closer to continuing that mission, to be able to give those dollars to those kids and to see those smiles. Plus we love the community that we’re in,” said Ingram.

This week, the Extraco Events Center is hosting the RAM Texas Circuit Finals, where some of the top cowboys and cowgirls from across the country will compete in various events in hopes to make it to the RAM National Circuit Finals in Florida.

“This truly is a great family entertainment, and you don’t get that as much anymore. So that’s something we are proud of. We are proud of our patriotism and what the world of rodeo brings is fun, so we hope everybody comes out and enjoys three nights of great rodeo action,” said Long.

The Ram Texas Circuit Finals will begin on Thursday and last through Saturday night. You can purchase those tickets for the events here.
