WACO, TX — The Just Between Friends Kids Consignment sale is happening this weekend for the 15th year.
Sude Rosier has been consigning with this sale for six years, and this year she has 500 items of clothing to sell. With two great grandchildren and three grandchildren, she is constantly seeing them outgrow their wardrobes.
"My great grandson is 14, and every time he comes to see us he's just about outgrown his clothes," Rosier said.
She enjoys sales like these because its money staying in the community and in her pocket. Retired and looking for an extra income, she enjoys participating each year.
"It gives me something to keep my hands busy," Rosier said.
With many gearing up for spring cleaning, Just Between Friends is hoping to turn the 127 consignors clutter into cash.
"And it keeps things out of the landfill, so we are all doing our part to save the earth," Nicole Euting, organizer, said.
With thousands of toys, clothes and other items to choose from, Euting loves to see the community get such a deal.
"They've got a large amount of clothes and toys, and they say oh my goodness, it was only a hundred bucks," Euting said.
