BELLMEAD, TX — Bellmead police responded to reports of a crash involving a car and motorcycle at 6:14 p.m. on Sunday.
The crash occurred near the Valero on Highway 84 in Bellmead.
The driver of the car was headed westbound on Highway 84 and about to turn in to the Valero when the motorcyclist, headed eastbound, hit the the right rear passenger side of the car, said Lt. Kinsey, Bellmead PD.
Police identified the driver of the car as a 24-year-old man from Bellmead. The driver of the motorcycle is a 48-year-old man.
Police say the motorcyclist was alert and conscious at the time they arrived on scene, but that he is being transported to Hillcrest Hospital.
Both lanes of Highway 84 eastbound are blocked off at this time as officials work to clear the crash. But drivers can get around on the right side, said police.
