WOODWAY, TX — The City of Woodway worked to repair a water line on Tuesday.

At around 8:20 p.m., the city said the water line has been repaired and should be back up with pressurized running water.

"Thank you again for being so understanding and allowing us the time to fix this issue. Thank you to the City staff and everyone who was apart of fixing the line," the city said.

The city said at approximately 3:45 p.m., a subcontractor working for AT&T hit a 12' water line, which supplies the portion of water located around H-E-B.

Crews were on site and working to repair the break and get the water to the businesses and residents in the area.

H-E-B in Woodway was having water issues. An H-E-B employee said they shut down their sample areas and are not selling hot food.

The restrooms are currently out of order and they are using portable restrooms outside.

A rough estimate of when the water line would be fixed would was originally around 11 p.m.
