City of Waco announces closures for Labor Day

WACO, TX — The City of Waco announced several closures for Labor Day Weekend and the Labor Day holiday on Monday, Sept. 2.

The City of Waco offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 2 in honor of Labor Day.

The Waco-McLennan County Library system will close all branches Sunday Sept. 1 and Monday, Sept. 2. The Central Library will still be open on Sunday.

Waco Transit will be closed for Labor Day, with the exception of Medicaid trips which will run as scheduled on Sept. 2 -- as will the Silo District Trolley and LaSalle-Circle Shuttle.

Waco Solid Waste Offices and Waco Landfill will be closed Monday, Sept. 2. Waco's Monday trash and yard waste will be picked up on Wednesday, Sept. 4.

The Cameron park Zoo, Texas Rangers Hall of Fame Museum and Waco Mammoth National Park will all be open on Monday, Sept. 2.
