WACO, TX — Caritas Waco was left without fresh food for its clients after the power was knocked out over the weekend.
The food pantry said due to electrical issues beyond its control, the coolers lost power and the food has spoiled.
Clients will not be able to receive food until further notice, but Caritas' non-food related services like case management and clothing will still be available.
On Monday afternoon, they said they will reopen their pantry to clients on Tuesday afternoon at 1 p.m.
