MCLENNAN COUNTY, TX — The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality issued a boil water notice to customers on Tuesday. The boil water notice has been rescinded.
Due to a busted 4' water main on the Linden Hall Well water line break, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the McLennan County WCID #2 to notify their customers of the boil water notice on Tuesday.
On Thursday, officials said the system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels and bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with testing results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling.
