WACO, TX — Bishop Louis Reicher Catholic School has announced the appointment of Mr. Rob Whitworth to serve as principal for the 2020-2021 school year.
Whitworth will be coming to Bishop Louis Reicher Catholic School in Waco with 26 years of experience in the field of K-12 education, including 22 years in Catholic education.
Whitworth most recently served as Assistant Superintendent for Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Austin.
Before his current role in the Office of Catholic Schools, he held positions as a campus administrator in the Archdiocese of San Antonio, the Diocese of Victoria, and the Diocese of Dallas.
Whitworth says he was drawn to Bishop Louis Reicher Catholic School by the exciting transformations taking place at the school.
As an alumnus of the University of Dallas, he looks forward to playing a significant role in advancing the school and enhancing the partnership between the University of Dallas and Bishop Louis Reicher.

A graduate of the University of Dallas with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Whitworth also holds a Master of Humanities degree from the University of Dallas along with multiple certifications from the Texas State Board of Education.
During his career, Whitworth says he has fostered a passion for serving students who learn differently than others and has experience in implementing programs to meet these students' needs.
