BELLMEAD, TX — Bellmead police arrested a man one month after he was accused of leaving the scene of an accident that sent one to the hospital.
Police said 37-year-old Gregory Allen Griffin left the scene of a crash the night of March 11.
Two victims of in the collision said a small car hit them and left without stopping to check on their condition. One of the victims was taken to the hospital.
Police received a tip of the description of the car that left the scene, which led them to attain a warrant for Griffin’s arrest.
On April 10, Griffin was arrested for accident involving injury and transported to the McLennan County Jail. Police said he was previously out on bond for charges of abandoning or endangering a child, resisting arrest and assault - strangulation, all which stemmed form a case in July 2018.
