WACO, TX — Baylor Scott & White Health announced they are working collaboratively with community leaders to administer vaccines as doses become available.
Beginning this weekend, Baylor Scott & White will assist the Waco-McLennan County Public Health District in its efforts to immunize Texans at its vaccination hub at the Waco Convention Center.
This collaboration will expand the hub’s capacity to serve more Texans, according to BS&W.
In addition to their support of the Waco-McLennan County Public Health District vaccination hub, Baylor Scott & White is reaching out to Texans who are at highest risk of severe illness from COVID-19 to schedule an appointment for the vaccine based on eligibility and supply.
"We reach out through our digital portal, MyBSWHealth, and in some instances, we are following up by phone," the statement said.
Any Texan can create a MyBSWHealth account by downloading the MyBSWHealth app, which can be done by texting BETTER to 88408 or by visiting MyBSWHealth.com.
A dedicated phone line has been established to answer questions and provide assistance at: 1-844-BSW-VACC (1-844-279-8222).
