WACO, TX — A man was hit and killed by an 18-wheeler on Highway 6 at Waco Drive Friday afternoon.
Officers were called out to the 100 block of West Highway 6 and Waco Drive Friday afternoon.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy was not ordered.
He has been identified as 24-year-old Stetson Hoskins. Police said he was a transient from the Waco area.
Police said that after talking to witnesses, they believe he was in the middle of a mental health crisis. Witnesses thought he intentionally stepped in front of the vehicle.
