WACO, TX — Ascension Providence will offer the COVID-19 vaccine to high-risk Waco ISD and Midway ISD school staff.
To qualify, staff members must meet the qualifications outlined for Phase 1B. This includes being 65-years-old and older, having a pre-existing chronic medical condition, or other qualifications.

Ascension Providence says this is a limited vaccine administration pilot for both school districts. Officials estimate more than 65 Waco ISD staff and 350 Midway ISD staff are eligible for the vaccine.
Vaccinations for Waco ISD staff members will take place Saturday, February 6, while the Midway ISD clinic will take place Thursday, February 11.
