WACO, TX — The City of Waco is asking for the public's help locating the man who abandoned a box of kittens.
A video taken from security cameras at the animal shelter shows a man abandoning a box of kittens Thursday morning before the shelter opened.
A citation has been sent to the owner of the car. The license plate number is: #LSP0525
The city also said this same type of incident has happened more than once at the animal shelter.
"There are ways to re-home animals, surrender them safely, or work with a rescue to find loving homes. We can help you if you make the effort," the post said.
The post also said that dumping animals is not OK.
If anyone has any information on the incident, contact the animal shelter.
