WACO, TX — Two aggravated robbery suspects were arrested after they led police on a high-speed chase that ended in a crash near the McGregor Executive Airport.

The Waco Police Department said around 3 p.m. Wednesday, officers attempted to pull over a man and a woman, who are suspects in multiple felony cases, including an aggravated robbery.

The car got on the interstate and reached speed up to 100 mph. The two headed southbound on the interstate to Lorena.

They then went down Old Lorena Road to Highway 84. Once on Highway 84, the two turned westbound on the eastbound lanes.

The car later wrecked out on Highway 84 in the area of the McGregor Executive Airport.

Police say the two were taken into custody. Donald Ray Owen was arrested for felony evading and harboring a fugitive. Zabrina Brown was arrested on an out-of-state felony warrant.

The two were taken to the hospital to be checked out. Once they receive medical clearance, they will be taken to the McLennan County Jail.
