WACO, TX — Thanks to help from the community, 25 News and Carter BloodCare were able to positively impact 84 local lives through 25 News' 4th annual blood drive.
During the nine-hour blood drive Thursday, 28 donors stopped at the 25 News Waco station to roll up their sleeves and give the gift of life.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, many blood drives were canceled, greatly affecting the blood supply in Central Texas and across the nation.
28 pints of blood were collected during the drive, making it possible for 84 people to enjoy their next special moment in life.
