BELLMEAD, TX — A 62-year-old Bellmead resident is dead after a fatal auto-pedestrian accident Saturday evening.
Bellmead police said the accident happened just after 8:43 p.m. in the 4700 block of Bellmead Drive. According to police, a 19-year-old driver was traveling eastbound on Bellmead Drive when the 62-year-old tried to cross the eastbound lane.
The man was struck by the 19-year-old driver.
62-year-old Michael Macy had extensive injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by a Justice of the Peace.
At this time, no one has been charged.
Bellmead police are still investigating the crash.
