Oceans Healthcare, a behavioral health provider focused on healing and long-term recovery, announced the expansion of its Texas behavioral health services with the construction of a new hospital in Waco. The company plans to open 48-bed Oceans Behavioral Hospital Waco at 5931 Crosslake Parkway later this year and anticipates staffing around 90 clinical and non-clinical positions.
Local city officials will join members of the Oceans Healthcare leadership team at the planned hospital site Thursday, March 21, at 2 p.m., for an official groundbreaking ceremony.

Oceans Behavioral Hospital Waco will be conveniently located near Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center and will provide inpatient and outpatient treatment for adults ages 18 - 54 and seniors 55 and older. Highly-trained clinical and support teams provide care to patients managing depression, anxiety, behavioral disorders associated with early-stage Alzheimer’s or dementia, and other behavioral health issues.
